Jeter IT Solutions is looking for an Outside Sales Executive with a proven track record of success in uncovering opportunities and generating new business. This person will follow our custom-designed, proven sales process for prioritizing opportunities, qualifying potential new customers, understanding the customers’ business drivers, building relationships, presenting solutions and closing the business. The Outside Sales Executive controls their own success and paycheck by proactively targeting and building strategic relationships with new customers.

Experience Requirements

  • CRITICAL: Candidates must have three or more years of selling experience with a proven track record of winning new business in SMB and B2B environments
  • Candidates must also have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area of study or equivalent, relevant experience
  • Proven experience building relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers is highly desirable
  • Industry experience in managed IT services desired
  • Technology experience required

Key Functions of the Outside Sales Executive

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: Use your strong hunter mentality and lead generation strategies to identify targets, connect with decision-makers and influencers, qualify opportunities, uncover client needs, educate on our services, and recommend a comprehensive technology solution. Get creative, leverage your network, attend events and maximize leads generated from internal marketing.

SALES PLANNING: You will work with the management team to develop a planned approach by creating a sales plan for activities that generate new opportunities. Execute the sales plan and communicate your progress against the plan. Demonstrate strong self-awareness and make adjustments in approach and activity levels to achieve goals. Leverage our CRM to track all notes, activities, opportunities and critical information.

GOAL-SETTING AND KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: Track progress on key activities that drive opportunities through the sales process.

MODEL OUR CORE VALUES EVERYDAY and follow Jeter IT policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to lift 75 pounds (Servers, Computers, Network Hardware, Cabling, etc.)
  • Able to work as an Essential Employee in the Jeter IT office and attend meetings or events at client sites or other locations with proper health and safety protocols in place.

Pay: From $35,000.00 per year + Commissions
